OUR STORY, OUR FOOD, FOR YOU
Wabi Sabi was founded by Andy and Gao, two high school best friends who grew up together. The two have sought to bring a new dining experience to Connecticut for several years. Finally, the opportunity presented itself in West Hartford. The two signed a deal to acquire the restaurant formerly inhabiting the space. From the ground up, they personally designed and built the physical space that is now home to Wabi Sabi. During the design phase, the partners traveled to Japan to study several dishes and develop the menu they now offer. The menu offers dishes with carefully selected ingredients. These include both locally sourced items and ingredients imported from Japan. Visit Wabi Sabi to try kushiyaki (grilled skewers), sushi, and donburi (rice bowls). You can also enjoy yakisoba and yakiudon (wok tossed noodles). Additionally, there is an extensive craft cocktail list and much more!
